    Update: According to Governor Cuomo's June 7, 2020 Executive Order, mailed ballots will be accepted until June 16, 2020. Ballots returned by hand will need to be to the district clerk by June 9, 2020 at 5 p.m.

    NOTICE IS GIVEN that the School District is closely monitoring all current and future legal developments as they pertain to school district elections and budget votes. Due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus and Governor Cuomo’s executive orders mandating the closure of all schools and modifications of school elections, the deadlines and procedures stated herein may change as required by law or consistent with further state guidance. All District residents are encouraged to closely monitor this website for the most up-to-date information concerning the School District’s annual vote.

    LEGAL NOTICE

    On May 1, 2020, Governor Cuomo issued Executive Order 202.26, which affects the annual meeting and election for school districts. The annual meeting will take place virtually on Tuesday, June 9, 2020. Voting will take place by absentee ballot only (not in person) for qualified voters. Ballots will be mailed to homes and will include a postage paid return envelope. Please note ballots will be mailed to all voters who are registered with the Erie County Board of Elections.

    Voter qualifications are:

    1. A voter must be a citizen of the United States.
    2. A voter must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
    3. A voter must be a legal resident within the district for a period of thirty (30) days preceding the election at which he or she offers to vote.

    If you are not a registered voter and meet the qualifications above, you can obtain an Absentee Ballot by filling out this form at least 7 days before June 9, 2020. ABSENTEE BALLOT REQUEST FORM

    Absentee ballots must be received at the office of the District Clerk not later than 5:00 p.m. prevailing time on the day of the annual vote (June 9, 2020).

    The District will be holding the Adjourned Budget Hearing on May 28 (Thursday) at 7:00 p.m virtually.  There will be a link on the front page of our website for the public to view the meeting on our you tube channel.  If you have a question during the hearing, you can submit your question to BOEQuestion@frontiercsd.org.

  • Election Information

    Currently, the Frontier Central School District Board of Education is composed of seven members. Each Board member is elected to serve a four-year term effective July 2017, previously a five-year term. There are two seats up for election on June 9th.  The candidates are (in alphabetical order per Executive Order 202.26):
