Welcome to the Frontier CSD Superintendent's Office

  • Christopher J. Swiatek

    Dear Falcons,

Soon we'll welcome you back to another exciting school year! As the Superintendent of Frontier Central School District, I am eager to greet all students and staff with renewed enthusiasm and determination to make 2023-2024 as memorable as possible. Our schools are not just buildings. Individually, they are thriving communities representing the high expectations set forth by our Board of Education and you, our Frontier Families.

This school year we will continue to foster an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and equality while empowering every student to reach their full potential. Our instructional staff will continue to provide top-notch instructional programs, engaging curriculum, and inspired program choices for students. We also look forward to welcoming the inaugural year of our BIG Picture Academy, designed to provide students with an alternative learning model that includes hands-on mentorships with local businesses.

Upon returning to school in September, you will notice considerable work being completed at all our schools and significant upgrades in our facilities, including:

    • Completion of our softball and baseball complexes
    • Enhanced security measures in all of our schools
    • New secure playgrounds at all our elementary schools
    • A renovated Middle School pool
    • Pinehurst Elementary classroom renovations
    • Blasdell Elementary’s upgraded parking lot and new bus loop

In August you will receive the district's calendar in the mail and copies will be available at Frontier buildings. It is an easy-to-use resource that includes not only dates, but also important policy information. The calendar contains contact information for our buildings, departments, PTA, and Board of Education. However, the print calendar is but one resource. The District also provides digital calendars and countless other resources on our website at www.frontiercsd.org.

Other important online resources for timely, pertinent information to our families include the Falcon Update, Facebook, and Twitter. These are great ways to keep up with student activities throughout the year.

All of this is an effort to improve communication and collaboration with our Frontier Families. I look forward to a remarkable year of achievement, student growth, and shared accomplishments with staff and students.

    Welcome Back Frontier Falcons!

    Christopher J. Swiatek
