• Frontier Central School District Universal Pre-K Registration for 2021-2022

The Frontier Central School District will continue to offer in-house Pre-Kindergarten options for families. Universal Pre-Kindergarten is open to youngsters who are four years of age on or before December 1, 2021. Blasdell and Cloverbank Elementary will each have two sections (morning and afternoon) for Pre-Kindergarten students. Seventy-two four-year-old children in the district will benefit from inclusion in our program. If interest exceeds the number of available slots, a lottery will be held.

Please call the Frontier Instruction Office at 926-1797 between March 1st and March 31st to have your child’s name included in the lottery, which will be conducted in April 2021. You will be notified by mail whether your child secured a spot or is on the waiting list. Please note that transportation is not provided for these classes. It is the responsibility of parents to transport their children.

Our district continues to collaborate with CAO Head Start, which operates a Universal Pre-Kindergarten program for eligible four-year-old children. Eligibility is based on Federal Head Start guidelines. The Head Start Pre-Kindergarten is an extended day program, which operates Monday through Friday at Blasdell Elementary School on South Park Avenue. EduKids on Lakeshore Road is another Frontier collaborative Pre-K program. The children attend half day sessions as they do in the Frontier in-house Universal Pre-Kindergarten program.
