• Ready GEN Reading Program

    Our four elementary buildings implementated a reading series called, Ready GEN in Septembe 2017 and this continues to be our primary K-5 reading series. Ready GEN offers authentic texts with modeling and teacher-directed activities to drive learning and motivate readers. Instruction focuses on reading, writing, speaking and listening, allowing students to read authentic literary and informational texts.  Ready GEN responds to the ELA shifts that are necessary to ensure that our students are college and career ready.
