All electronic devices must be relinquished during any assessment where the device is not required for the assessment.
Failure to do so
will result in a zero
for the assessment in which this policy was not adhered to by the student.
Portal updates occur as soon as possible and always before 5 and 10-week marking periods. This course will introduce students to the workings of the economy. Attention will be given to both Micro- and Macro- concepts providing students with a base of knowledge to make sound personal
economic choices.
Grading:
Participation, Classwork, Quizzes & Homework 50%
Participation:
· Makes good use of class time
· Completes assigned tasks as instructed
· Does not hinder teaching or learning
· Is on time and ready to learn
Participation will be calculated on a Unit basis.
Failure to comply with anything above will result in a reduced participation grade.
Student should ask: “Is Mrs. Schober happier after she saw me than before she saw me?”
Classwork/Homework:
· Completed and turned in on time
· Done completely and accurately
Tests & Projects 50%
· Tests will assess knowledge of the details of specific units.
· Projects will assess the ability to analyze, synthesize and
personally apply knowledge from a unit
Attendance
· School attendance policy rules apply for this half-year course.
