Algebra 1 is a NYS Regents course for 9th graders and you will take the NYS Regents Exam in June of 2019. In order to graduate from high school, you must pass one NYS Regents Math exam and this course gives you a chance to fulfill that requirement. There is also a midterm scheduled in January. Successful completion of the course as well as the exam in June will place you in Geometry next year.
