    Quiz Policy

Small quizzes will be given at the beginning of many classes.  These quizzes will not only be

based upon current class work, but will also focus on previous course material.  The content of the quiz will be announced on the day prior to that quiz, also students can improve quiz grades by performing corrections.  The reasons for implementing these quizzes and /corrections are as follows:

-to allow the student an opportunity to master the subject we are studying

-to allow parent(s)/guardian(s) an opportunity to continually share in the student's

class work and performance on a daily basis

-to help the student prepare for unit tests and the final exam

-to develop life long learning/study habits

Remember I am here to help you learn, and I will be available to assist you with any problem you may have.  Therefore please feel free to see me after school for any extra help.  All work is expected to be handed in on time.  If you are absent you must see me the following day to make up the missing assignment(s).  Long-term absences will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

    Parent(s)/Guardian(s) Communication

Progress can be viewed on the parent portal.  Grades are updated continuously throughout the marking period.  Students are encouraged to revisit and master assignments to improve their overall grade and knowledge of the material.  I may be reached at 926-1720 ext. 2137.
