    Mr. Sheffield.

Hybrid instruction rules for office hours and remote lessons, there are some very important rules and online etiquette that need to be observed in order to keep our instructional sessions professional and productive.  Please familiarize yourself and adhere to the following.

    ON-LINE  Rules:

    - Sign in to the session with your real name: first, then last.  No nicknames, pseudonyms, or screen names allowed.  You will not be allowed into a session unless your teacher sees your actual name.

-Mute your microphone upon entering the class.

    - Your video needs to be turned on.  We need to see your face.

    - You must be dressed in an appropriate manner.   Ladies do not wear low cut tops.  Gentleman no tank top/muscle shirts. Hoodies must be left off.  Nothing with inappropriate or vulgar language or pictures.  Please keep in mind that if you stand up during a session people will see you.  Please wear appropriate pants/shorts/etc. below the waist as well as the appropriate clothing above.

Remember you are on camera.  Please don’t take us to the bathroom, work from bed, or work while in the pool, shower, or any other inappropriate setting.  You are responsible for finding a quiet place to work, free from distractions.  You will be in class, please show appropriate decorum.  Work in an area where we cannot see people running around behind you or the TV on in the background.   The view behind you should not show a TV that is on,  inappropriate pictures, etc.   Please keep your phone off so it does not ring or cause distractions during class.  If you are viewing class through your phone, please do not walk around.  The changing background will be very distracting.  Find a quiet place to view class and stay there for the duration.

    - Do not eat on camera. (Believe it or not, this is distracting to everyone).

    - You will only be allowed to “talk” to through the chat feature.  Teachers will not have an open chat for the class.

    - If you have a question raise your hand.  Do not be afraid to ask questions.

If these rules are not followed I will first give you a warning to which you will need to comply.  If you continue to disrupt class for any reason,  I  may dismiss you from class.  Obviously, you will receive no credit for that day.
