    Science-

    LAND AND WATER: Students love this hands-on unit that allows them to explore how land and water interact.   Students create a mini water cycle in their stream tables and study the four soil components - sand, clay, humus, and gravel. 
     
    ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS: Students use batteries, light bulbs, and wire to build circuit paths and simple circuits.  Through various hands-on activities, students will learn the power of electricity. 
     
    PLANT GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT: Students will grow, observe, and make discoveries about their own plants from seed to seed.

    English Language Arts-In ELA we are using our LEAD 21 reading program to help guide our instruction.  We meet in whole groups, guided groups, and individual meetings.  Please make sure your child is reading at home daily for at least thirty minutes.
