Greetings to the Frontier BIG Picture community! My name is Chloe Mokadam. I am a recent graduate of Buffalo State's Master of Science in Science Education Program and a Frontier alumna. I have taught chemistry and biology at the college level, and I have worked as an academic mentor for college students entering Buffalo State with socioeconomic, academic, and social-emotional challenges.

I am eager to bring my content knowledge, relationship-building skills, and student-centered instructional style to Frontier's BIG Picture Program. I look forward to inspiring students by engaging them in real research, guiding them through explorations of the natural world, and introducing them to working scientists in the WNY area. I also enjoy finding the intersection between science and other fields, such as art, ELA, social studies, and math. I aim to show students that science is for everyone!

On the weekends, I can be found working in my lab on ecological research, foraging for edible fungi, or playing backgammon on the porch with my partner and two cats.
