Snack Procedures
We will a quick snack every afternoon in our classroom this year. The exact time will vary depending on our schedule for each day. I will send home a snack calendar each month so you will know ahead of time when it is your child's day to bring in a snack for the entire classroom to enjoy.*I am asking that we try and keep our snacks as nutritious as possible. When it is your child's snack day please make sure that the snack is at school by 12:00 p.m. You can also drop it off anytime in the office as long as you label with your child's name and room number.*We currently have 19 children in our classroom.*If the snack requires utensils of any kind please make sure to provide them as well. We will be drinking water with our snack each day. When our supply of cups run out, I will be asking for 9-10 oz cups to be sent in along with the snack.Below are just some examples of snacks that the children seem to really enjoy:Pretzels, graham crackers, teddy grahams, all fruits/vegetables, applesauce, popsicles, rice krispy treats, animal crackers, cheez-its, granola bars, scooby snacks, crackers (plain Ritz, Townhouse, Saltines).**PLEASE DO NOT SEND IN FRUIT SNACKS OR FRUIT ROLL - UPS**
**If you have any questions pertaining to the snack, please don't hesitate to call me!**
