Bright sunshine and warm smiles were abundant September 8th as the Frontier Central School District welcomed students back for the first day of the new school year.“At Frontier, there is something special about the first day of school – it makes all of us feel like kids again, filled with anticipation, excitement and the promise of a great school year,” said Superintendent Christopher Swiatek. “As we begin this new school year together, I hope our students, families and staff carry that same excitement with them throughout the many wonderful days ahead.”
Administrators and teachers were on hand to greet students as they arrived.“One of the most amazing parts of being in an education is that you get a redo or a day one every year and that is such a blessing,” said Cloverbank Elementary School Principal Renee Kumiega. “On day one we still get as excited as the kids to meet and greet and welcome them to this beautiful community. There is nothing like having kids back in the building.”
“It’s the greatest day. The kids are all excited. They’re all reinvigorated from summer. The staff is invigorated. The building looks fantastic. It’s just an exciting time of year,” said Frontier Middle School Principal Dan Charland.
