Aiden Bishop was born with optic nerve hypoplasia, a congenital condition where the optic nerve – which connects to the eye – is underdeveloped. It is a leading cause of vision impairment in children. Despite being 80 to 90 percent blind, the Frontier High School junior has created an autonomous robot model car for his Computer-Aided Design (CAD) class that he designed, built and coded himself. He was featured in great segments on WKBW-TV and WGRZ-TV. Check them out!
