The Frontier Central School District is accepting nominations for consideration for induction into the League of Distinguished Alumni. Those selected will be inducted during the annual ceremony to be held during the High School’s Academic Awards Ceremony on Monday, June 1, 2026.
The Frontier Central School District formed the League of Distinguished Alumni in 2014 to honor, recognize and celebrate the achievements of its most accomplished and distinguished alumni whose successes, or sacrifice, will be forever known to students, community-at-large and alumni.
If you are aware of a Frontier graduate who should be considered, based upon the outline below, please forward the information, along with your name, address and phone number to JoAnn Balazs, Frontier Education Center, 5120 Orchard Avenue, Hamburg, New York, 14075 by February 27, 2026.

The Nomination Form must be submitted together with all nomination materials supporting the applicant's accomplishments.
CRITERIA FOR NOMINATION TO THE LEAGUE OF DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI
Has graduated from the Frontier High School, or graduated from either Woodlawn or Blasdell High School, (which merged into Frontier High School as the result of centralization on June 28, 1951) at least 10 years prior to his/her induction. Students who attended Amsdell School No. 9, Athol Springs No. 10, Big Tree No. 7, Lake View No. 12, Shaleton No. 4, or Wanakah No. 5 prior to 1951 are also eligible.
Has exemplified high standards of character in both his/her personal and professional life.
Has exhibited outstanding service in his/her profession at the local, state or national level.
Has displayed outstanding service in his/her community at the local, state, or national level.
Has demonstrated exceptional leadership in his/her personal and/or professional life
Has attained a high degree of success at the local, state, national or international level in any appropriate field of endeavor including but not limited to academia, arts, business, media, entertainment, medicine, military, music, public service, etc.
NOTE: those excelling in athletics are directed to the sports Wall of Fame nominating committee.
