Due to the recent weather-related closure, please review the important updates below from Frontier Central High School.

All NYS Regents exams originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 20th have been rescheduled for Thursday, January 22nd.
Wednesday, January 21st will follow the original schedule as planned.
Because of the significant increase in the number of students testing, there will be no regular instruction on Thursday, January 22nd. Only students who need to report for exams or who attend BOCES/CTE programming should report to school that day.
Friday, January 23rd will remain a normal attendance day for all students and will include the completion of morning NYS Regents exams.

The 15th annual Hamburg MLK Food Drive Presents Paws & Claws "Food Fight." Between now and January 15, students from the Frontier and Hamburg Central School Districts will be collecting non-perishable food items to be donated to FeedMore WNY.

Register and pay for your AP exam(s) starting on Monday, September 29th through to the deadline on Friday, October 31st, 2025. Payments for all AP Exams are made on the Revtrak system. The link to Revtrak will be available on the Frontier High School website. A credit or debit card will be required for payment on the Revtrak system. The cost per AP exam is $99.00.

The Parent Drug and Alcohol Forum is required for parents or guardians of students in grades 6-12 in order for their children to attend certain student social events throughout the Frontier Central School District.

Any District students in those grades whose parents or guardians have not attended a Parent Drug and Alcohol Forum will not be allowed to attend dances, proms, balls or sanctioned overnight trips while in High School. The Forum is being offered in the Frontier, Hamburg and Lake Shore Central School Districts. Parents have the option of attending the Forum anywhere it is offered.

The Frontier dates are October 6, 2025 and March 31, 2026 at the High School Auditorium. Times for each session are 6:30 p.m.

Hamburg dates are October 7, 2025 and March 19, 2026, with both at 6:30 p.m. in the Hamburg High School Cafeteria.

Parents or guardians of students in grades 6-12 need to attend just one session, which covers the entire time their child is in school.

A graphic with a list of times, dates and sites is listed. In addition, the District is currently working on a virtual training session option. The Frontier Central School District recognizes the time and effort put forth by our families and is currently working on a plan to make this training available via a virtual option. For families who choose to attend live, the dates are available. We are expected to have a virtual option available to families by November 1 in order to fulfill these obligations.

Student Government and the National Honor Society are planning "Huddle for Hunger," a food drive that is part of the Western New York High School Challenge, with drop off September 26 and 27 at Frontier High School.

Regents exam review classes are being offered August 11, 12, 13, 14 and 18 at Frontier Middle School for Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Earth and Space Science, U.S. History, Biology, ELA, Global 10 and Chemistry.

Frontier senior Lillie Bogdan traveled cross country to capture a pair of titles over the weekend. The Georgetown signee was in Oregon for the Nike Outdoor Nationals and was victorious in the 2000 steeplechase with a time of 6:29.81, which also happened to be the fastest time in the nation this season. Bogdan followed her performance the following day in Philadelphia at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals by winning the same event with a time of 6:32.78. Congratulations Lillie!

Did You Know: Two teams of Frontier High School students presented their NASA HUNCH projects to astronauts and engineers in Houston, Texas.
