Students at Great Gatsby party

The 301 cohort (Juniors) threw a school-wide Roaring ‘20s celebration after finishing the Great Gatsby in English class. Our 301 students spent time discussing and analyzing the styles and culture of the 1920s in U.S. History class in conjunction with their reading of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s famous work. Students spent time carefully planning what sorts of refreshments would be available, the games that students could play, and the music that would play in the background. The 301 students also had different roles to play during the party such as waiter/waitress, banker, drink-server, etc. What a wonderful way to experience the 1920s!
