Suggestion from our School Psychologists

A simple thing that parents can do is bake with their kids - it incorporates math and reading skills as well as gives the kids a great sense of helping and being proud of what they made.

Scavenger hunts around the house are great too - Have the kids hide in one room, while you put "clues" around the house - simply using index cards to write the clues -  one clue leads to another - until they get to the end where they can get a little treat.

Here's an example:

* The place where clothes get clean (laundry room)
