• MATERIALS NEEDED FOR CLASS EVERYDAY:

    Statistics Through Applications

    1. Writing UtensilLoose leaf paper or spiral notebook for taking notes.
    2. One: 3-Ring Binder(size 2 inch) – You will be taking your own notes  (either in spiral as mentioned above or on paper) and receiving note sheets and handouts throughout the year – They should be organized by chapter in your binder – You will use one binder for the entire year – Your dividers should be titled: Notes & Applications, Homework Sets, Quizzes, Review/Practice Tests/Tests, Miscellaneous Notes & Tables
    3. CALCULATOR. It is REQUIRED to have a TI-84 or TI-84 Plus Graphing Calculator for this class.  Please purchase a TI (Texas Instruments), not the Casio as the functions on a Casio do not coincide with the functions we use in class. 
    4. The Textbook for this class is “ Statistics and Probability with Applications , 3rd edition published by Bedford, Freeman and Worth. “ this is your responsibility to make sure you have access to this at home. There will be a classroom/smart board set as well for use in classroom.

    Math Applications

    There will be notes on a daily basis with work and examples.

      • Writing Utensils
      • “Geometry: Practice and Problem Solving Workbook,” Published by Holt McDougal, provided

    Common Core Geometry:

      • 2 inch Binder with loose-leaf Paper
      • TI 83 or 84 Graphing Calculator or Scientific Calculator
      • Straight Edge, protractor, Compass, graph paper, and Writing Utensils
      • Unit Note Packets as provided
